Oodle & Ink Studio workshops are carefully planned and prepared in advance, including purchasing materials, preparing individual projects and booking venues. This policy explains what happens if your plans change or if a workshop needs to be changed or cancelled.

Public workshop bookings

Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received.

If you can no longer attend a workshop, please get in touch as soon as possible.

More than 7 days before the workshop 

You may request a refund or transfer your booking to another available workshop of equivalent value.

Within 7 days of the workshop
Bookings are generally non-refundable, as materials, venue arrangements and workshop preparation may already have been finalised. However, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to another person — just let Oodle & Ink Studio know before the workshop.

Where possible, Oodle & Ink Studio may also offer an alternative such as a credit or transfer at its discretion.

Personalised workshops

Some workshops involve personalised preparation before the event. For example, Paint Your Pet requires an individual portrait to be prepared from the photograph you provide.

Once personalised preparation has begun, that portion of your booking may not be refundable if you choose to cancel.

If you are unable to attend, please contact Oodle & Ink Studio as soon as possible so we can discuss the options available to you.

Transfers

Can't make it anymore? You may give your place to someone else.

Please contact Oodle & Ink Studio before the workshop with the new attendee's name and any relevant information.

For personalised workshops, the replacement attendee may need to complete the project that has already been prepared.

Late arrivals and missed workshops

Please aim to arrive at the advertised workshop start time.

If you arrive late, Oodle & Ink Studio will do its best to help you catch up, but the workshop may still need to finish at the scheduled time.

If you don't attend a workshop and haven't contacted Oodle & Ink Studio beforehand, your booking will generally not be refundable or transferable.

If Oodle & Ink Studio cancels

Occasionally, a workshop may need to be cancelled or significantly changed due to circumstances affecting the event.

If Oodle & Ink Studio cancels a workshop, you'll be contacted as soon as possible and offered a refund of the workshop fee or, where appropriate, the option to transfer your booking to another available workshop.

If a workshop is rescheduled or significantly changed, you'll be advised of the options available to you.

Private & workplace workshops

Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements for private and workplace workshops may differ from public workshops because venue bookings, materials and preparation are arranged specifically for your group.

Any applicable deposit, payment and cancellation terms will be provided before your private workshop booking is confirmed.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer guarantees apply to services supplied by Oodle & Ink Studio where required by law.
